The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to explain how we manage the information collected through the platform, as well as the measures our company is currently taking to ensure security and confidentiality.
To offer you a personalized experience when you use the Sync Auto platform and to provide you with the Sync Auto products and services, we collect certain information pertaining to you and your clients. Most of the information the Sync Auto platform gathers is not classified as personal information. However, for purposes of security and accessibility, our platform records the user’s name, email address and company, and may collect certain other information, as well. The type of information we need may vary, depending on the services that Magnetis Auto is requested to provide for you. How does Sync Auto collect personal information?
The personal information gathered by Sync Auto is mostly collected during our interactions at the time you open your account. We may also collect information through third parties, cookies and other means, always with your consent or as permitted by law.
Consent to collect, use or disclose personal information may be obtained verbally or in writing and may be express or implied. This is necessary in order for Magnetis Auto to grant you access to the Sync Auto platform.
By using the Sync Auto platform, you are implicitly authorizing us to use your personal information, as well as that of your clients, if necessary, in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
When we use your personal information for purposes of billing or support or to present you with our new products or features, we are doing so on the basis of tacit consent, as implied by our business relationship. We will use the personal information of your clients solely to provide the Sync Auto products and services and to optimize their functionality.

Sync Auto offers the possibility of modifying certain personal information through the platform. However, our personnel are also available to make corrections if you believe that any of your personal information is expired, incomplete or outdated. Clients are responsible for keeping their personal information up to date.
Sync Auto may use cookies and web beacons. Cookies are files that are recorded on the hard drive of your computer or that of your client, making it possible to personalize the browsing experience. Web beacons or tracking tags are integrated in a webpage, often working in tandem with a cookie, in order to discreetly analyze a user’s browsing behavior. This technology enables us to improve our solution and the user experience and generally does not enable us to personally identify the user in question.

In the event that Magnetis Auto decides to sell or assign ownership of Sync Auto or transfer all or part of the operations or services thereof to a third party, we reserve the right, subject to full confidentiality, to disclose some or all of your personal information to a potential buyer during and after the acquisition process. Any potential buyer of the Sync Auto platform shall be automatically bound to abide by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. Magnetis Auto shall require the potential buyer to refrain from disclosing any personal information to which it may have access and to delete such information in its entirety in the event that the sale is cancelled for any reason.
At any time, you may request access to all of the personal information we have regarding you or your clients. Magnetis Auto agrees to provide you with this information whenever the law permits us to do so.

Your continued use of the Sync Auto services subsequent to the publication of an update shall constitute your tacit acceptance of the revised terms.
This Privacy Policy does not create or grant any individual rights or impose any obligation on us, except for the rights and obligations imposed by current Canadian legislation in the area of personal data protection. Any disputes regarding this Privacy Policy or our collection, use or disclosure of any personal information shall be governed by the laws of the province of Quebec (as well as applicable Canadian law) and shall be submitted to the courts of Quebec.
